A week of debates and discussions to not only bring to life the need for businesses to be protected, but to also to provide practical & useful tips which will appeal to all advisers whether they are new to the Business Protection area or have been in it for a while.
Each of the sessions are planned to have a discussion for about 30mins followed by a live Q&A session for a further 15mins. CPD confirmation of attendance will be available for all sessions giving valuable structured CPD.
The calendar of events is below which includes links to the detailed summaries for each session and their registration links.
Let's start the week with two great sessions. The first looks to de-mystify the Business Protection market and give advisers the confidence to approach their business clients.
The second delves into the research into the opportunities and the market place for advisers. This includes a look at the findings from Swiss Re's Term Watch which has just been published
Todays sessions include a look into the solutions and underlying principles that advisers could use ranging from the simple to the more complex - "make sure you know your EOTs from your MBOs".
The second focuses on your approach and the conversations you have to bring to life the need with businesses giving you the confidence to "talk the talk in the boardroom".
We start the day with something a little different. It's not uncommon for a business to operate beyond the UK or have owners based overseas which can be challenging when looking for solutions. A look at the options for international clients - both individually and group schemes.
Then we explore the Post Budget NI changes for employers, looking at the
opportunities for salary exchange and as a gateway to open up Business Protection conversations
The focus for the first discussion is everything business development related. Whether you're new the market, or been in it for a while, there will be ideas to help you grow your Business Protection.
The second will move the discussion to examine wider opportunities with business clients with the Group Protection market, which can be a great way to embed value into your business, and of course the debate will include the use of individual v's group policies
We round the week off with a couple of practical sessions from CI Expert, ipipeline & Iress looking at the tools and support to help you in the application process.
The final session will consist of real-world tips from advisers successfully operating in the Business Protection market. This includes the experiences of advisers moving to focus on this area and what has really made a difference for them
The speakers involved in all the discussions use their knowledge and expertise to bring it to life.
They include Financial advisers, Insurers, Reinsurer, Expert Consultants, and support companies.
