It's an underserved market so presents a great opportunity for advisers.
We want to help more advisers move into Business Protection, and also help those already there have a greater engagement with their business clients.

Increase the awareness for advisers to work with their business clients and provide the valuable advice they need.
Provide information and practical tools to encourage both new and existing advisers to build a new area of their business.

A collaboration across all areas of the insurance market with experts who are focused on the Business Protection arena.
They include Financial advisers, Insurers, Reinsurer, Expert Consultants, and support companies.

We plan to work together to grow the Business Protection market and help advisers across the following
A week of debates and discussions to not only bring to life the need for businesses to be protected, but to also to provide practical & useful tips which will appeal to all advisers whether they are new to the Business Protection area or have been in it for a while.
Each of the sessions are planned to have a discussion for about 30mins followed by a live Q&A session for a further 15mins. CPD confirmation of attendance will be available for all sessions giving valuable structured CPD.

There are 2 sessions each day with the first at 11.00 and the second at 2.00. Each will take between 45mins to 1hr.

Let's start the week with two great sessions. The first looks at the opportunities in the Business Protection market and give advisers the confidence to approach their business clients.
The second delves into the 2025 budget changes and how they will impact small business ownership and could financially impact exit strategies.
Todays sessions include a look into how mortgage advisers could seize the opportunities rather than missing out on valuable business.
The second focuses on group protection and will set out the key differences between group schemes and individual policies and will describe the scope of cover and support for business from group products.
We start the day with a look at the options for Sole traders & the requirements we should consider when advising solo business owners to make sure we communicate the financial risks
Then we have a discussion covering Disaster planning for business owners including a focus on changes to Business Property Relief and the impact on Inheritance Tax planning for business owners
The focus for the first discussion is looking at the factors that Impact the value of your client's Business. Accurate business valuation isn't just a technical exercise—it's the foundation for writing meaningful business protection.
The second will move the discussion to understand about the planning for the ups and down of family businesses, and how a Business Whole of Life plan can be essential in meeting these need.
We round the week off with looking at the sales opportunities with cross selling Business Protection and Private Medical Insurance
